Can thin gauge plates be made with custom fonts and artwork?
Thin gauge plates can be made with customer-supplied vector art. Text and images on thin gauge plates can be either raised or recessed in etched plates.
Note: Raised text and graphics are specified in orders, the background will be painted, leaving the text or graphics the metal color.

Can you paint thin gauge plates?
Thin gauge plates can be fill colored or screen printed. All returns are unpainted.
Note: Sublimation prints include unlimited spot colors or four-color process printing to replicate customer artwork. Exterior sublimated plates are UV-resistant, scratch, and graffiti-proof.
Install Environment
Where can I install thin gauge plates?
Thin gauge plates are mainly installed indoors but can be for outdoor applications depending on plate type.
Note: For indoor use only: Brass, printed aluminum, and Dynasub.
Note: For indoor or indoor/outdoor use, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, and DuraLuxe.
What mounting options are there for thin gauge plates?
Thin gauge plates can be mounted by:
- Thru-hole Mount: Two or four thru-holes in 1/16 in, 1/8 in, or 3/16 in diameters. Hardware is not included.
- Double Face Tape Mount: 2 mil thick tape included in the cost. For interior use only.
Pricing Notes
- For interior printed, sublimated interior, and sublimated exterior (DuraLuxe™), pricing includes unlimited spot colors or four-color process printing, up to four holes for mounting, and a choice of plate corner shape.
- Restrictions may apply for color fill backgrounds that bleed off the edge of the plate. Etched satin anodized aluminum price includes satin silver or satin black finish.
- Interior Printed Aluminum: Pricing includes satin gold, silver, and black. Gloss black or white is available
- Sublimated Interior Aluminum (DynaSub™): Pricing includes a satin silver or gloss white finish
- Sublimated Exterior Aluminum (DuraLuxe™): For sublimated exterior aluminum, plates are gloss white aluminum
