What fonts can I use on a plaque? 

Almost any font can be produced on Gemini Plaques. A good rule to go by is the more detail in a font, the larger the letter will need to be. The fonts listed in the table below are recommended for making plaques with the smallest possible letters.

The minimum required letter heights below refer to the "Cap Height". The producibility of the lowercase letters that follow that capital letter are accounted for in that measurement.

Each font listed below is available in uppercase and lowercase letters. The raised and recessed values are sometimes similar and sometimes very different due to the unique attributes of each font and each plaque product type.

The chart below is meant to show a handful of font possibilities when text must be at its absolute smallest. The below values reflect the required letter heights for unmodified fonts. Our layout artists can make most fonts work at 0.25" letter height. But that will often require cutting between serifs, thickening or thinning strokes, or filleting corners. The fonts below require no such edits at the sizes listed. This is why they are recommended, especially Myriad and Cambria.
