How to Duplicate a Quote

Gemini's Partner Portal gives users the option to not only create, edit, and view quotes, but duplicate quotes. To start duplicating your quotes, follow the steps provided below. 

1. Log in to Partner Portal. 

2. At the top of the screen, click the Quotes tab for duplicating quotes or the Orders tab for quotes converted into orders.

3. Look for the specific quote you would like to duplicate from the quote list provided. 

Tip: You can enter your Quote/Order ID or Job Name in the search bar at the top right to pull up your quote/order as well. 3. Tip (Searching Quotes)-1

4. Once you have found your specific quote, click either the white View Quote or Finish Quote button at the right of your quote. For orders, click the View Quote button to the top right of your quote near the paper airplane icon.

5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the red Duplicate Quote button. If your quote is current, there will be a white Delete Quote button.

Note: If your quote is expired, you will need to update it before being able to duplicate the quote. Custom quotes and quotes converted into orders cannot be updated or deleted and will require a new quote. To learn more, view our How to Update an Expired Quote article. 

Caution: Clicking the Delete Quote button will cause your quote to be permanently deleted. Once deleted, it cannot be recovered. 

6. Next, you will be directed to the quote's Options page. Here, you can choose to edit your job name, product, and specifications. 

7. When you finish editing and reviewing your duplicated quote, you can proceed to either click the red Save Quote or Send Request buttons at the bottom right of the screen. Your ability to select either button will depend on if you submit a standard quote or a custom quote. You can also choose to click Proceed To Order to continue to order without receiving an estimate for the quote.

If you have any questions or concerns, you can connect with a team member by either clicking the black paper airplane side menu icon at the right of the screen or click the Start a New Message button, the black paper airplane icon, in the Help & Support Panel.
