How to Create a Quote in Partner Portal
Starting a quote is easy in Gemini's Partner Portal. When using Partner Portal, you can quickly generate and share quotes with your customers. Follow these simple steps to get started.
1. Log into Partner Portal.
2. Select the red Start Here button on the Dashboard or the red Start a Quote button on the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Name your quote in the space provided and hit Save to proceed.
4. Choose your Product Line. You can click Learn more on the right side to get more additional product and specification information.
Caution: Changing the product line will clear all the information you entered.
5. Select your Material from the drop-down menu.
6. Under Quoting Options, choose whether to enter your own specifications, pre-fill with the most popular products, or bypass entering any.
Caution: Choosing to bypass entering specifications will require artwork and additional notes on any features of specifications not clearly stated in the artwork.
7. Depending on your signage needs, you can add letters, logos, and bars to your quote, and fill in the project information including text, dimensions, paint, and mounting required.
8. If you have artwork ready, select the white Choose Files button to upload it. This will allow you to drag and drop files or choose a local file.
Note: If you have selected to enter or prefill specifications, you don't need to submit artwork when submitting a quote. Your quote will be sent to a Gemini customer experience representative who will reach out to confirm your details before proceeding.
Tip: Unable to see a price with your quote? You may have started a custom quote. A custom quote includes materials or specifications not listed in our Essentials Product and Pricing Guide. 9. If you are ready to save your quote, click the red Save Quote button at the top or bottom right of the screen. You can download a PDF, edit or proceed to order after saving a quote.
Note: Saving a quote will not turn your quote into an order. To submit an order, you must click the red Proceed to Order button at the top or on the right-hand side of the screen.
Quotes are valid for 30 days. If you do not turn it into an order, you will have to edit the quote to refresh pricing.
