How to Create a Custom Quote in Partner Portal

By using Gemini’s Partner Portal, starting a quote saves you time and allows you to access all your project information from one spot. In addition to quoting products in our Essentials Product and Pricing Guide, you can submit custom requests in Partner Portal to centralize your communication with Gemini.  

Custom quotes include any materials or specifications requested that are not found in our Essentials Product and Pricing Guide. Starting a custom quote is similar to starting a standard quote.

Follow these simple steps to get started on creating a custom quote.


1. Log in to Partner Portal 

2. Select the Start Here button on your Dashboard or Start a Quote in the upper right banner on the screen.

3. Name your quote in the space provided and hit Save.  

Note: You must name your quote to proceed.

4. Choose your Product Line.  

Caution: Changing your product line with clear all the information you entered.

Note: Click Learn More next to the product line to learn more about the product and its specifications.

5. Select your Material.

6. Depending on your signage needs, you can add letters, logos, and bars to your quote, and fill in the project information including text, dimensions, paint, and mounting required.

Tip: You can submit standard quote requests in Partner Portal. If you provide all standard options in the dropdown menus, review the How to Create a Quote article.

7. If you don't see a dimension or finish option available for your project, select not listed, custom option, or unspecified in the drop downs for the details. 

8. When you choose an unlisted item, a note box will appear for you to enter your custom specifications. Fill in the details of your request here.

Tip: Add as much information as you can. This helps our customer experience team members when converting your quote into an order.

9. If you have available artwork, select Choose Files to upload it. This will allow you to drag and drop files or choose a local file.    

Note: You don't need to submit artwork when you submit a quote. Your quote will be sent to a Gemini customer experience representative who will reach out to confirm your details before proceeding. 

10. When you are ready to send your request, press Send Request to send your request to our representatives who will review your quote and contact you with pricing. Press Proceed to Order to continue without having a team member reach out to you about pricing.  

Quotes are valid for 30 days. If you do not approve the quote or it is converted to an order, pricing may change, and you will have to edit the quote.
