Starting a quote saves you time by eliminating back-and-forth emails and allows you to access all your project information in one place. In addition to quoting products in our catalog, you can submit custom requests in Partner Portal to centralize your work with Gemini. Custom quotes include any materials or specifications requested that are not found in our catalog. Starting a custom quote is similar to starting a standard quote. Follow these simple steps to get started on creating a custom quote. 1\. Log in to Partner Portal  2\. Select the red **Start Here** button on the Dashboard or the red **Start a Quote** on the upper right corner of the screen. 3\. Name your quote in the space provided and hit **Save** to proceed.  4\. Choose your **Product Line.** You can click **Learn more** on the right side to get additional product and specification information. **Caution:** Changing your product line with clear all the information you entered. 5\. Select your **Material** from the drop-down menu. 6\. Under Quoting Options, choose whether to enter your own specifications, pre-fill with the most popular chosen, or bypass entering any. **Caution:** Choosing to bypass entering specifications will require artwork and additional notes on any features or specifications not clearly stated in the artwork. 7\. Depending on your signage needs, you can add letters, logos, and bars to your quote, and fill in the project information including text, dimensions, paint, and mounting required. **Tip:** You can submit standard quote requests in Partner Portal. If you provide all standard options in the drop-down menus or choose to pre-fill within the Quoting Options, review the [**How to Create a Quote**](https://hub.geminimade.com/knowledge/how-to-create-a-quote-in-partner-portal?hsLang=en) article. 8\. If you don't see a dimension, finish, or mounting option available for your project, select **Not Listed**, **Custom Option**, or **Unspecified** from the relevant drop-down menus.  9\. When you choose an unlisted item, a note box will appear for you to enter your custom specifications. Fill in the details of your request here. **Tip:** Add as much information as you can. This helps our customer experience team members when converting your quote into an order. 10\. If you have available artwork, select the white **Choose Files** to upload it. This will allow you to drag and drop files or choose a local file.     **Note:** If you have selected to enter or pre-fill specifications, you don't need to submit artwork when submitting a quote. Your quote will be sent to a Gemini customer experience representative who will reach out to confirm your details before proceeding. 11\. When you are ready to send your request, you have two options: - Select the red **Submit Request** button to send your request to our representatives, who will review your quote and contact you with pricing. - Select the red **Proceed to Order** button to continue without having a team member reach out to you about pricing.  the red **Submit Request** button on the right-hand side to send your request to our representatives who will review your quote and contact you with pricing.
