What materials make GemLeaf letters and logos? 

GemLeaf letters and logos are made with metal foil and acrylic. Our foil is micron-thick and adhered to our extruded acrylic to create a distinctive look.

How big can GemLeaf letters be? 

Our GemLeaf letters can be up to 22 inches. They can be up to 22 inches by 46 inches in single pieces.

How small can GemLeaf letters be? 

GemLeaf letters can be as small as 1 inch.

How thick can GemLeaf on Acrylic be? 

GemLeaf letters come in four standard thicknesses: 

Typeface/fonts 

Can GemLeaf letters be made with custom fonts?  

Customers can supply custom fonts and vector art for their GemLeaf letters and logos. We also have a selection of standard fonts to choose from if a custom font or logo is not required. 

• Lowercase letters are 75% of the corresponding uppercase letter price. 
• Small punctuation marks, such as commas, periods, and dashes, are 33% of the uppercase letter price. 
• Logos smaller than 10 inches by 10 inches are priced as a letter using the maximum dimension.
• For sizes larger than 24" in any dimension or containing thirty-one pieces or cutouts, contact us through Partner Portal for a quote.

What finishes are available for GemLeaf on Acrylic? 

GemLeaf letters and logos have a brushed or polished face finish and can be painted.

Painted Edge and Back Colors 

GemLeaf on Acrylic edge colors and letter back can be painted. Pick from our standard paint colors or provide your own custom paint color. If non-painted, Black and White pigmented sheets are available. Reminder that when edges are being painted, masking is removed from the foil sheet face.

GemLeaf letters and logos are for interior use only.  

Mounting and Installation

What mounting options are there for GemLeaf on Acrylic? 

These letters and logos have seven mounting methods.

Note: * Additional charges apply for full coverage double face tape, combination all, and pad mounting.

 

	Plain Mount No mounting holes or hardware supplied. Most metal finishes require some processing holes on letter backs, even with plain mounts. Based on the mounting surface, some installers use double faced tape, adhesive, or a combination of the two. Exterior applications typically require a strong adhesive and sometimes anchors to secure the letters
	Double Face Tape Mount Strips of 25-mil VHB tape are applied to the backs of the letters and logos. The maximum size varies by acrylic thickness. The price includes a stencil guide.
	Stud with Block Mount Available for 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch thick letters only. Plastic blocks glued to back to receive threaded studs
	Flush Stud Mount Drilled and tapped to receive studs 1/4" thick are drilled and tapped to receive a 6-32 stud. 3/8"+ thick receive 10-24 studs
	Full Coverage Double Face Tape Mount * This mount is for letters and logos 4 inches and under. Letters have full coverage of double face tape on the letter and logo backs. Contact us through Partner Portal for a quote.
	Combination All Mount * The same as a stud mount, but adjustable pads are provided on all studs to provide extra adhesion to the mounting surface. 5% upcharge
	Pad Mount * The backs of letters and logos have plastic pads glued to the back. Creates a 3/8"-1/2" stand off. 5% upcharge
	Z-Clips Also known as cleat mount Z-Clips come in two parts: One secured to the back of a panel, and one to the installation surface. From there, the panel can be installed onto the clip on the wall. Z-Clips are perfect for temporary installations, such as seasonal signage, or podiums. 5% upcharge.
