Printing Restrictions
Two Sided Print on Clear or Painted
We can print both front and back surfaces
Full coverage print on second surface (back) must be plain or tape mounted
Base Color
This is the color that covers the face and returns. For plastic products, it is the pigment or paint. For metal, it is the specific metal/finish, or paint color. Gemini cannot print returns.
Call out any specific paint or print colors needed. However, the paint color will not match printed colors exactly.
If the returns need to match a specific color on the face, it should be painted. This is the base color.
Full Coverage Print
All full coverage print will have an inset of -.02". There will be a thin outline but it should not be visible.
Raised Print
Call out which details are raised and which details are flat to ensure most accurate production.
Printed Colors
We cannot print metallic colors
Printed colors will not match painted colors, but will be relatively close.
Braille
ADA guidelines must be followed.
Clear Coat
Standard is satin, unless accompanying letters/logos with another sheen
Gloss is not ADA compliant
Frosted acrylic clear coat should be matte to maintain the frosted appearance.
