Gemini does not support file types from other software such as .CDR (CorelDraw), .fs (Flexi), or .DWG (AutoCAD). Our art processing is primarily done through Adobe software. We recommend exporting or saving your files as a PDF.

We can accept bitmap files such as JPEG, PNG, TIF, or CMP for Colorlast printing and spacing requirements on orders with standard fontFor all other order types, we require clean, vectorized artwork. Please see our Vector vs. Bitmap article to learn more about vector art requirements.

Warning: If submitting a bitmap image for printing, a minimum of 300 DPI is required to ensure the quality of the print; anything less than 300DPI may result in pixelated or poor resolution prints.

Additional File Requirements for a Smooth Order Process

To help ensure a timely quote and order entry, please review the following file preparation guidelines.

  • PDFs must not be password-protected. Locked files prevent our Customer Experience team from accessing required information and may delay processing.
  • List all order specifications in the quote or the notes field of your Partner Portal request. Including specifications in artwork files increases the change of errors during the quote or order process.
  • Upload high-resolution images separately. This helps reduce delays and art quality issues.
  • Avoid live text. Editable text can lead to matching issues; flattening text or converting it to vector art helps ensure accuracy.
  • Submit artwork at a 1:1 scale or clearly note the scale used. If the file has been enlarged, adjust the resolution accordingly to maintain proof quality.

Note: Be aware of product-specific letter height and stroke minimumsPartner with the Sales Team to confirm requirements and prevent delays or design modifications during the art proofing process.

If our Customer Experience team identifies any issues with your artwork, we will collaborate with you to find a solution. If you have questions about product limitations or special requests, you can contact us through your Partner Portal account.
